At the end of this year I was commissioned by Curtin University to write an original script to be performed by the Hayman Theatre Company. The result of this was I Met Christine James-Scott in the Shopping Centre Carpark, which was directed by Clare Watson and presented at The Blue Room Theatre. I also participated in Fresh Ink, a mentoring collaboration between Barking Gecko and Australian Theatre for Young People, which led to the development of two short plays.

Originally from Kalgoorlie and now dividing time between Melbourne and Perth, I studied a double degree of Performance Studies/Creative Writing at Curtin University, graduating in 2018. Since then I have worked as a writer, director, and actor, as well as co-founder of independent theatre company Lindstedt & Davies. The company launched with Tunes from the Roadside, written and directed by myself, as part of FRINGE WORLD 2018. In 2019, I collaborated with Fonder Physical Theatre on The Fonder Factory Tour and staged a reading of new script SHE under the mentorship of Chris Isaacs. In the same year, I interned at Propel Youth Arts and assisted in the programming of the KickstART Festival. Lindstedt & Davies presented our third show, A Region Where Nobody Goes, written and directed by myself, as part of The Blue Room Theatre’s Summer Nights program.

In 2020, I performed as part of the Nglaka Daa ensemble at Kings Street Arts Centre, a collaboration between WA Youth Theatre Company and Yirra Yaakin. I also devised and performed in Ugly Virgins alongside Courtney Cavallaro and Anna Lindstedt, as part of The Blue Room Theatre’s 600 Seconds program.

In 2021, Ugly Virgins was developed into a full length work, presented at The Blue Room Theatre by Lindstedt & Davies and produced by Maiden Voyage Theatre Company. I co-wrote and co-directed this work, and we had a sell-out three week season. Later in the year I adapted and co-directed Little Women, also presented at The Blue Room Theatre. We had a sell-out season and I was presented with the Judge’s Award for adapting the text.

I started off 2022 by participating in Perth Festival’s Emerging Artist Lab, where I learnt from international artists and Perth industry leaders. I worked with PVI Collective and Propel Youth Arts WA to devise Rupert Murdoch and the Jellyfish Girl, a short solo work that looked at the impact of media on Australian society.  I had another short work, Unknown Southern Land, staged by the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company as part of their 24 Hour Play Generator. I had a two week residency at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, shared with Anna Lindstedt and focused on creating a new puppetry work for a young audience. I also worked as teaching artist at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, and as a performer at the Constable Care Foundation.

In 2024, I was shortlisted for the Queer Playwrighting Award Showcase. The play, Day for It, was a co-production between Gasworks Arts Park and Midsumma Festival, and directed by myself and co-written with Anna Lindstedt. The play received the inaugural People’s Choice Award.

I have recently completed shooting a webseries called 2010, produced by Not a Phase Productions and funded by ScreenWest. I am currently studying a Masters of Screenwriting at the Victorian College of the Arts.
